Hello, On behalf of the faculty and staff, I welcome you to Anacoco High School. As your Principal, I will strive each and every day to make Anacoco High School a place in which you are proud to be a part. Anacoco High School consistently ranks as one of the top schools in Vernon Parish and in Louisiana. AHS was recently recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School (2016), an award earned for outstanding academic performance. Our goal is to prepare our students for the challenges in the ever-changing world beyond the classroom. Our faculty views the success of each child as another step of success for our school's legacy and motto-Achieving Higher Standards!

In addition to excellent academics, we offer several co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities for our students. Our athletic programs have garnered several state championships and consistently challenge for more. Come take a look in our gym and you will see the evidence on the walls and hanging from the ceiling. Anacoco High School Quiz Bowl teams continue to vie for the district trophy each year.

I have thirty-two years of experience in education, the last eighteen in administration, nine as an assistant principal and nine as a principal. Before that, I spent seven years as a teacher / coach at Anacoco High School. I am looking forward to another great year as an Anacoco Indian.
